Your mix still needs a reference when the studio is one corner of a room. The REVEAL 402 is a near field monitor, meant for listening from 0.75 to 3 metres. Each one stands 240 mm high, 147 mm wide and 212 mm deep.
A wide response from small drivers
Crossover is at 2.8 kHz, from a 100 mm (4") multi fibre paper cone to a 19 mm soft dome. Response is 56 Hz to 48 kHz, ±3 dB measured at 1 m. The tuned bass port fires from the front.
Phone, player or interface
Plug a line source into the balanced XLR or the 6.35 mm (¼") jack. There is also a mini-jack input, 3.5 mm. For stereo, feed one speaker from an audio interface, smart phone or audio player. To link the pair, use the mini-jack cable in the box: 3.5 mm, 5 metre.
Set at ear height
Face both at you, tweeters close to ear level. Keep them upright rather than lying down. A rear VOLUME knob sets the level. The EQ switch trims the tweeter: HI CUT for a bright room, HI BOOST for a dull one.
