GOLD 5

Bi-amplified nearfield studio monitor with Dual Concentric point source technology, a 127 mm LF driver and bass adjust

Where to buy GOLD 5 (0316-AAY)

For small rooms where bass builds up.

In a small, enclosed studio, bass frequencies can build up. The manual suggests the GOLD 5 for exactly that room. Its smaller woofer can mean fewer problems with excess bass.

One point, one clear image

The Dual Concentric driver aligns the low and high frequency parts on the same axis, as an acoustic point source. The cabinet works in landscape or portrait. These are nearfield monitors, usually placed between 0.75 and 3 metres away.

Tuned to your walls

BASS ADJUST offers 0 dB, -2 dB or -4 dB to compensate for walls and corners. HF TRIM adapts the treble to a lively or dull room. INPUT TRIM matches the level to your sound card or desk.

Stereo from a phone or player

Feed a 3.5 mm stereo source into one speaker. MONITOR LINK sends it to the second speaker over the supplied 3.5 mm cable.
