OCV 8

Coaxial pendant loudspeaker for installation, with a tapped 60 W transformer and euroblock loop-through wiring

Where to buy OCV 8 (0311-AAC)

Hang it, tap it, wire the next one.

When the ceiling is high, the loudspeaker comes down on a cable. Every unit ships with two cables: one for hanging, one for safety. Gripple speed clamps, a terminal weather boot and a euroblock connector come too. The coaxial driver reproduces 75 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB).

Matched to the line you run

The 60 W transformer taps at 60 W, 30 W and 15 W, plus 7.5 W on 70.7 V lines. A rotary switch sets the tap. Low impedance is how it leaves the factory. Switch it before wiring in a 70/100 V amplifier.

Wiring that loops on

The amplifier lands on pins 1 and 2 of the euroblock connector. On a distributed line, pins 3 and 4 feed further speakers in parallel. Put the rubber seal back and it is closed again.
