Let the speakers step out of the way.
You know the evening: the lights are low and the record simply plays. Tannoy HPD monitors reshaped listening for studio engineers and audiophiles in the 1970s. CHEVIOT brings it to a floor-standing cabinet, with new drivers and components scaled up.
Detail from deep bass to the top octave.
The Dual Concentric driver pairs a 300 mm (12") paper pulp cone with a 33 mm (1.3") aluminium/magnesium alloy dome. Response runs from 38 Hz to 30 kHz (±6 dB), with the crossover at 1.2 kHz.

Make the highs suit the room.
Take off the grille to find ENERGY and ROLL OFF, which adjust for your room acoustics. Start at LEVEL, then adjust until only the musical performance is heard.

Cabinetry worth looking after.
The 19 mm MDF cabinet has heavily damped plywood bracing and a walnut veneer. Tannoy wax in the accessory pack keeps the wood fed. Wire it single, bi-wire it or bi-amp it on five 24ct binding posts.
