Some listening happens up close: at a desk, in a favourite chair, beside a small mixing setup. This speaker is designed for that range, typically 0.75 to 3 metres from where you sit. Place a pair on a table either side of your desk. Stands are the most stable choice and reduce vibration.
Point them at your listening seat
One Dual Concentric full range transducer works with a bass port. Its sound spreads in a 90° conical pattern, measured at the -6 dB points. Angle each speaker towards you, with the tweeter at about ear height. Keep them upright, not on their sides.
Real walnut, made to be seen
The cabinet combines solid wood and MDF, finished in oiled walnut veneer with solid walnut trim. An oatmeal grille cloth completes the look. It measures 356 x 209 x 155 mm (H x W x D).
Simple to wire to your amplifier
Two binding posts take banana plugs or bare speaker wire. When choosing an amplifier, note the 8 Ω impedance and 85 dB sensitivity (1 W @ 1 m). Power handling is 50 W continuous and 200 W peak.
