Tune it to your room, not the other way round.
Music deserves to reach you without added colouration. Studio engineers and audiophiles heard music differently after the Tannoy HPD Series of the 1970s. TURNBERRY takes that line on, with drivers and components newly scaled up.
One driver for bass and treble
Inside its Dual Concentric driver, a 33 mm aluminium/magnesium alloy dome sits with a 254 mm (10") paper pulp cone. Response reaches 34 Hz to 44 kHz (-6 dB). Sensitivity is 93 dB, with 20 to 200 W RMS of recommended amplifier power.

Placed for depth in the stereo image
Aim the pair so your favourite seat sits about 15° off each cabinet's axis. Leave 1 m or more to the side walls and at least 0.5 m to the wall behind. Spikes pass through carpet to the floor beneath. Metal cups protect polished wood.

Treble set by ear
ENERGY and ROLL OFF let you adjust for how your room sounds. Each has five positions. Start both at LEVEL, then adjust each speaker individually. The walnut veneer cabinet comes with a tin of Prestige wood wax.
