When the speakers disappear, the music is left.
Tannoy's test for the right setting: you stop noticing the loudspeakers and hear only the performance. The CANTERBURY carries the HPD heritage from the 1970s forward, with new, upscaled drivers and components.
Bass down to 28 Hz from a 380 mm (15") driver
Its cabinet is dual variable distributed ported. Inside, a paper pulp cone rides on a twin roll impregnated fabric surround. Sensitivity is 96 dB (1 W @ 1 m). Its -6 dB points are 28 Hz and 27 kHz. Tannoy recommends 20 to 300 W RMS of amplifier power.

Treble set for your space
Two controls on the front baffle, behind the grille, compensate for the acoustics of your listening room. ENERGY is a ±3 dB shelf covering 1.1 kHz to 27 kHz. The ROLL OFF control tilts the extreme top between +2 and -6 dB per octave.

Wire it your way
Start with one amplifier and the links from the accessory pack. Remove the links to bi-wire. Or drive bass and treble from separate amplifiers. A stereo pair then needs four mono or two stereo amplifiers of the same type.
