Give the music its proper place in the room.
Good stereo starts with where you sit. Angle the pair towards your chair until you can just see the inner side panel of each speaker. Set them 1.5 to 4.5 metres apart, with your seat slightly further back than that.
The work shared three ways
The F6 is a 3-way design with crossover points at 350 Hz and 2.5 kHz. The crossover is hard wired, passive and low loss. Response reaches from 40 Hz to 20 kHz (-6 dB). Two binding posts by Tannoy take the cable, both 4 mm and 24 ct.

A cabinet that keeps quiet
Each 1078 mm tall cabinet is 19 mm MDF with plywood internal bracing, heavily damped and rear ported. Rubber feet minimise resonance and colouration. Place it on level ground to prevent tipping. Ideally, allow at least 0.5 metres to the rear wall and 1 metre to the side, away from corners.

Better the longer you play
Performance improves after the first 24 hours of use. Over a longer run-in, stereo imaging, mid-band quality and bass become clearly better.
