Aim the sound down and keep the column flush.
Conventional column loudspeakers often need substantial downward tilt. The VLS 30 builds the aim into its pattern instead: +3/-11 degrees from centre axis. In many situations that means less tilt, or a flush mount and a cleaner look.
FAST does the shaping
Focussed Asymmetrical Shaping Technology (FAST) pairs QFlex transducer technology with a new passive crossover design. Coverage tilts gently towards the lower part of the vertical axis. Horizontal dispersion is 130° at -6 dB.
Flat or tilted, your choice of holes
Every loudspeaker includes both a flying bracket and a wall bracket. The top two screw holes give a flat flush mount, and the lower two give a 4 degree downward tilt. At the rear, one rotary switch selects 100 V, 70 V or low impedance.
