An alarm message only works if people understand it.
Certified to EN 54-24, the VLS 7 (EN 54) can serve in fire detection and alarm systems. Tannoy FAST shapes its coverage towards the lower quadrant of the vertical axis.
Aimed down without a steep tilt
The vertical pattern runs +6/-22 degrees from the centre axis. Where conventional columns need substantial downward tilt, a VLS needs less, or can even mount flush. The supplied wall bracket is slotted for an angle of 0 to 6 degrees.

Seven drivers, two ways to wire
Seven 89 mm (3.5") full range drivers fill the column. The mode is set at the back, on a rotary switch in the input panel. It runs at low impedance, or on a distributed line at 70 V or 100 V.

Ready for outdoor walls
With an IP64 rating, the series resists dust and moisture ingress, salt spray and UV. Each unit includes a flying bracket and, for outdoor use, a watertight cable gland.
