PLASA 2010
Tannoy is teaming up with sister audio brands Lab.gruppen, Lake and TC Electronic to jointly exhibit at this year’s PLASA show, taking place as ever at London’s iconic Earl’s Court between 12th – 15th September. Located near the main entrance this year at the front of Hall 1, on stand 1-B10, Tannoy will be showing its leading fixed installation and live sound products including the flagship VQ Series (incorporating the latest developments in its ‘tour ready’ VQ Live guise) and smaller footprint, compact V-Series range of point-source loudspeakers.
Also on show is the British manufacturer’s award-winning QFlex digitally steerable array system, which has been winning favour in the install market as a superior solution for dealing with challenging and problematic acoustics. Delivering significant improvements to intelligibility, QFlex is a must see if you’re involved in the installation of audio systems in house of worship, auditoria and transport hub projects in particular.
On the power and loudspeaker management front, Swedish manufacturer Lab.gruppen will be exhibiting directly at the show for the fifth year running, with their class-leading C Series range of installation-dedicated power amplifiers and of course the industry renowned tour sound product including FP+ Series and the mighty new PLM 20000Q 4-channel Powered Loudspeaker Management System (featuring onboard Lake Processing and 5K per channel output). Lake themselves will also have a dedicated presence with their standalone Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor on show, in the form of the much talked about LM 26.
Also on show will be the brand new System 6000 mk2 from Danish world leaders in audio processing, TC Electronic, bringing the almost ubiquitous industry-standard System 6000 mastering and reverb DSP platform bang up to date for the 21st Century with a host of cutting edge features and powerful new capabilities.
Be sure to pay Stand 1-B10 a visit, where sales and technical staff from Tannoy, Lab.gruppen, Lake and TC Electronic will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss any requirements you may have, and talk you through all of the various systems on show.
